No cleaning with regular replacement

The AirTouch N20 memory foam cushion doesn’t require cleaning when replaced regularly. Studies show that AirTouch mask cushions are hygienic to use for one month without cleaning.2-4 And they didn’t show excessive bacteria for a period of up to eight weeks without cleaning.2-4

Product Specifications

Intent of use

  • Intended to be used bypatients weighing more than 66 lb (30 kg) who have been prescribed noninvasive positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy such as CPAP or bi-level therapy
  • Therapy pressure range: 4 to 30 cm H2O

Cleaning

  • Patients may opt to wipe down the memory foam cushion with a dry cloth or non-alcoholic wipe. Do not rinse or submerge it in liquid.
    Note: The memory foam cushion doesn’t require any cleaning, as long as it’s replaced regularly. 
  • Prepare a bowl filled with warm (but not hot) water and a mild liquid detergent. Soak the elbow and short tube in the soapy water for a few minutes.
  • Hand wash the elbow (including the vent holes) and short tube (inside and out) with a soft bristle brush.
  • Rinse the elbow and short tube under running tap water.
  • Leave the cushion, elbow and short tube to air-dry away from direct sunlight.
