Disassembly & Cleaning

Before you clean your mask, you’ll need to disassemble it.
  • Twist and pull both magnetic clips away from the frame magnets, but keep the magnetic clips attached to the lower headgear straps.
  • Undo the fastening tabs on the upper headgear straps and pull from the frame.
  • Squeeze the side buttons on the elbow and detach from the vent ring.
  • Pull the cushion stud out of the frame stud hole. Repeat on the other side. Pull the vent ring from the cushion. Now that you’ve disassembled your mask, you’re ready to start cleaning it.
Daily cleaning :Your mask should be cleaned on a regular basis.
The three components that should be cleaned daily are your cushion, your elbow and short tube and your vent ring.
  • Soak the cushion, elbow and short tube and vent ring in warm water with a mild liquid detergent.
  • Ensure that there are no air bubbles while soaking. Shake the components vigorously in the water and hand wash with a soft bristle brush. (Pay particular attention to the vent holes in the vent ring.)
  • Thoroughly rinse the components under running water.
  • Leave them to air dry, out of direct sunlight.
Weekly cleaning: The two components that should be cleaned weekly are your headgear and frame.
  • Soak the headgear and frame in warm water with a mild liquid detergent. Ensure that there are no air bubbles while soaking.
  • Shake the components vigorously in the water and hand wash with a soft bristle brush.
  • Thoroughly rinse the components under running water. Squeeze the headgear and fabric on the frame to remove excess water.
  • Leave them to air dry, out of direct sunlight.
